Amy | theothertudorgirl - Team Leader | She is one of the most fascinating wives of Henry VIII but yet so little is known about her. She may have been naive but her family pushed her into doing things she did not want to do. Long Live Queen Kitty! |
Regina | Reggie 19 | After KOA and AB, i think she's one of the most interesting of Henry's wives, despite her grim end and the charges made against her, i can't help but feel sympathy for her, and even more hatred for Henry! |
Areti | BoleynGirl | Katherine Howard didn't deserve such a punishment. She was just a girl.I feel sympathy for her too..Poor girl.Merchant made me being really interested in her.......just like Dormer did about Anne! |
Emily | forgetful_blonde | Heck, why not? She was the youngster of the six and deserves some luv!!! Hey, she committed adultery, big whoop, woman had it hard back then... and to be frank how much pleasure would have she had with Henry really? On another point she was a great 'step-mum' to Edward and Elizabeth, very caring and playful toward them, know wonder Kitty's execution affected Elizabeth's childhood RIP Kitty; so young and misunderstood |
Julia | LadyLizzy - supportive leader | Katherine Howard was a teenager who just wanted to have fun. Instead she got Henry. Poor girl! |
Jessica | gapeachjessica | Katherine Howard has such an interesting story! I pity her, she was a victim of her family's ambition. She was just a young girl who didn't know what she was getting herself into. |
Alex | Edwardfan123 | Katherine was too young to die and did not deserve to die as she was still a little girl |
Ashley | AJBates | Katherine is my second favorite wife, second only to Anne B. She was very interesting, and didn't deserve to die. I wish she would have married Culpepper before she met Henry like she was supposed to. |
Kate | HeroineAddict | Poor Katherine needs support. She was a victim of circumstances who was used as marriage-fodder in a game of politics completely beyond her comprehension, and can't be blamed for her actions, which were at worst naive and misguided. |
Maggie | Maggie-AnneB. | Well frankly I feel pity for the girl. She has been trampled on then and now and called numerous horrid things and it is rather tiring to say the least. I also realised 5 minutes ago that since I've been defending her lately, I need to join the Team. Go Kathryn! Love ya sexy! =D |
Cait | caitthequeen | oh, i do so love her! i dunno, oddly, i identify with the girl (what does that say about me???). there's just something about her, that edge, that seductive innocence, you know? she's the tudor lolita! (which is my favourite book, which might say a lot...) |
Trisha | JRMSLADY09 | She is like the Lolita of the Royal Court!!! She may have been a lot of things but,if there is anything she was she was most certainly unlucky and I pity any girl who gets placed in the position she got placed in!!! |
Chelsea | Maryboleynfan | I love Katherine Howard because she was a bright and bubbly girl who was in love and unfortunately she was forced into marrying a much older man, when she didn't know any better. She was unfairly executed because she had affairs with younger men when its what any young woman in her position would do. |
Melissa | English-Rose | Katherine Howard is my favourite wife of Henry VIII! :) She wasn't pious like Katherine of Aragon, humble like Jane Seymour, solemn like Anne of Cleves or sensible and well-educated like Katherine Parr. She was more like her cousin, Anne Boleyn, who was quite flirtatious and lively. But what draws me to Katherine the most is how young she was when she got the King's attention. She was only in her teens, and as I am in my teenage years I feel like I can relate to her the most. I am also fascinated by her upbringing, in Lambeth, with all those other girls under the care of the Dowager Duchess of Norfolk. I love the way they secretly invited young men in without the Duchess knowing, and what they got up to just makes me giggle! XD I have so much respect and admiration for Katherine, as she faced her horrific end with the dignity and courage of a proper Queen. Her death at such a young age was completely cruel and unnecessary. The King got to have mistresses while he was married, so why couldn't the Queen have a few men? This is totally unfair, and makes me really annoyed with the way things were back then. Go Queen Kitty, the rose without a thorn! And long may you reign in heaven! :) |
Becky | HistoricQueen3 | I feel so sorry for poor Kitty! She was too young to understand the responsibilities that came with being Queen and was tempted into an affair which resulted in her death. Tamzin is also an amazing actress who has portrayed Kitty well! :) |
Henry | KingHenryVIII | I like her...I like her not...I like her... |
Chloé | liona5 | In the beginning, I wasn't really interested by Katherine Howard, I admit it, but while reading more and more about her I found out she was probably one of the most interesting wife (after KOA & AB), she was too young to be queen, but she seems to have been a really kind person.I watched Tamzin's performance on the Tudors, I realised I really loved this character and that she was one of my favorite wives. I also loved Emily Blunt's performance as Kitty. |
Anne | Seductive Angel | She shared with me the same man, the same position and of course the same death. My cousin Katherine was too young to be Queen of England and she never understood how dangerous her position could be. Mostly she enjoyed just the pleasures and the advantages of being Queen but in the end she finally fell in love...and this was her mistake. Poor, naive Katherine Howard! But Tamzin did a great job ;D |
Anya | AnyaTudor | I love her. I don't understand why so much people don't like her. For me - I really feel sorry for her... Poor young girl. She is my second favourite wife. |
Rafeeah | I'mTheCheesecakeHere | At first I thought: She's gonna ruin Henry's life. But now I realize, if she didn't exist, how would Margaret Pole have managed? I take it back from a earlier thread I posted on. When I put myself in her shoes (Which are really nice) I realized that she was just a girl, forced into marriage with a 49 year old. RIP Kitty. |
