Anne is known for the bitter battle between Henry and the Catholic church, who supported Katherine. Elizabeth also "won" (even though she never actually faught in the battle) her greatest battle against a Spaniard, actually Spain itself in the defeat of the Armada.

Both had very scheming fathers | Anne & Thomas Boleyn, Elizabeth & Henry VIII. Without Thomas Boleyn's hunger for power, Anne would have never been made Queen. Thomas Boleyn's hunger for titles and the King's favour made him push his daughters to be "right in the king's face," so to speak.

Both had Rollercoaster relationships with their sisters | Anne & Mary Boleyn, Elizabeth & Mary Tudor.
Anne and Mary were quite close untill Anne was Queen, Mary was banished from court by order of Anne because Mary had married without the Queen's consent.
Elizabeth and Mary were close but there was always the matter of religion and mothers. Mary made Elizabeth out of favour eventually having Elizabeth on house arrest and being put in the tower of London. |
Both had been in the Tower of London | Anne in 1533 & 1536, Elizabeth in 1554.
Anne Boleyn first went to the Tower in 1533 for the celebrations of her own Coronation - her triumph and royal beginnings. Anne Boleyn went to the Tower the second time in 1536 (in the Queen's lodgings not a cell!) on arrest, she eventually never left as she was executed on the 19th of May on charges of Witchcraft, Incest and Adultery and buried at the church in the grounds - her humiliation and end.
Elizabeth went to the tower (also in the Queens lodgings) in 1554 on investigation on being involved in the Thomas Wyatt Jnr rebellion. When Elizabeth was released on the 19th May 1554 (the anniversary of her mothers death) she was sent to Woodstock in Oxfordshire to be kept under house arrest. |
Both were related to Katherine Howard
| Anne's royal cousin, Elizabeth's stepmother.

This also made Anne and Katherine the nieces of the powerful Duke of Norfolk who was their uncle Thomas Howard and in turn cousins to his son the Earl of Surrey, Henry Howard.
Not only was Katherine Howard was Elizabeth's second cousin through her mothers connection she was also her stepmother as Henry took Katherine as his fifth wife.

Both would dislike Mary when they became Queen | Anne hated Katherine, Mary's mother Mary locked Elizabeth up in tower.
Anne was a lady-in waiting of Katherine of Aragon and seemed to dislike her and her daughter Mary. Anne disliked Mary because Mary took Katherine's side in the 'King's Great Matter' and not her father's. When Anne became Queen she made it clear that she didn't want Mary or Katherine to be at court. Anne did want to have a friendship with Mary but ONLY if Mary recognised her as Queen, when Anne was in the tower she sent a letter to Mary a message asking for forgiveness.
When Mary became Queen (there is a bit about this already) she locked Elizabeth up because she was a 'threat' to her and the 19 or 20 year old Elizabeth was certainly scared as Mary took away her beloved Kat Ashley and felt that she would never forgive Mary but will be obedient to her; Elizabeth was ill while a prisoner. Luckily she stayed alive as Mary didn't have the heart to kill her sister (after all she would of remembered her as a baby) and Phillip had a thing for Elizabeth and he could of used his powers over Mary to save Elizabeth. |
Both only had One brother and One sister | George, Mary, and Anne Boleyn. Edward, Mary, and Elizabeth Tudor.
Anne had two siblings as did Elizabeth, Elizabeth did have an older brother Henry Fitzroy so technically she had three but as she had no relationship with him, he died when she was three and there is no evidence of her talking about him she may not have considered him a brother. They both had a sister named Mary (possibly named after Henry's little sister) and were thought as being the youngest daughters (historians have not agreed on a plausible date for George's birth as there is no sufficient evidence). More about it is on this page. |
Both were rumored to be connected to a death of their lovers wife/ex-wife | Anne Boleyn and the death of Katherine of Aragon, Elizabeth Tudor and the death of Amy Dudley (nee Robsart).
It is thought today that Katherine of Aragon died of cancer to the heart, but at the time of her death it was highly rumoured that Anne poisoned her as Henry and herself were and would be the two people that benefited from her death as Anne might've had the chance to have no competition of being recognised as England's true Queen. But it was not to be as Katherine's death prompted a number of many events that would lead to Anne's eventual downfall just less than half a year later.
Amy Dudley's death has never been solved as nobody has looked at her remains and the house she died in is not standing today. One of the many conclusions is that either Elizabeth and Dudley, or Elizabeth and Cecil or Elizabeth herself hired a hitman to kill Dudley's wife for one of two reason's one was to make Dudley free so Elizabeth could marry him, the other being that by making Dudley free he would be connected to his wife's murder therefore having his name tainted and not worthy of marrying a Queen.
