l Re-Casting within "The Tudors"

Ever seen an actor/actress you thought didn't fit their role quite right but you saw another role in the series that you thought would be perfect for them?. Sit in the chairs of Frank and Naula Moiselle (The Tudors casting team) and try your hand at casting the characters using "The Tudors" cast.

*no portait in existance* George Boleyn	Boleynpatentpending	JRM	However, he'd be playing GB more the way I think he might really have been: Woman-loving, arrogant, ascerbic wit, a little ruthless, and wielding real power at court. As he plays falling in and out of love so well, I'd have had him in love with Jane Parker at first, then get disgusted with her as she turns out to be unstable, jealous and shrewish. Er...sound familiar? ;)
Jane Seymour	Boleynpatentpending	Natalie Dormer	Not that she wasn't great as Anne, but with her pale skin and ability to be slyly demure, I think she could have made a great Jane Seymour, if the Jane of the show had been less saintly and more opportunistic.
Katherine Howard	Boleynpatentpending	Sarah Bolger	SB has the round face of the girl in the painting, although she's prettier than the painting. I imagine KH coming across less like a star of Gossip Girl and more like a cute, giggly, cuddly sort of young woman who was lovable, warm and engaged in indiscretions. SB could pull it off.
Anne Boleyn	Boleynpatentpending	Joanne King	She's an excellent actress, the right age for the early part of AB's story, and has the pointed chin of the woman in the paintings.
Henry VIII	Boleynpatentpending	Steven Waddington	He looks like H8 reincarnated. Could he pull off the rages, romanticism and intelligence? Not sure but it would be interesting to see.

Jane Seymour	Neta07	Ruta Gedmintas (Bessie Blount)	In my head she was always the perfect Jane Seymour from the first time I saw her (wait maybe second time). Even though I did love Annabelle's Jane.
Katherine Howard	Neta07	Perdita Weeks	She basically is like Tamzin's KH but slightly more bubbly.
Thomas Cromwell	juilana-angela	Gerard McSorley	Gerard McSorley would have made a very interesting Cromwell (not that James Frain wasn't good...).He was excellent as the tough politician Cathal Brugha in the film Michael Collins.

Thomas Wolsey	MyLadyGreensleeves	Gerard McSorely	He would have made a good Wolsey too (although it would be very very hard to top Sam Neill's performance)
Anne Boleyn	amore_angel	Rebekah Wainwright (Catherine Brandon)	I always thought that the woman who played Catherine Brandon would have been a good Anne. She reminds me of Genevieve Bujold a bit.
Katherine Howard	MyLadyGreensleeves	Laura Jane Laughlin (Madge Sheldon)	She was said to be quite plump and pleasant looking rather than beautiful - I imagine her looking like a younger Madge Sheldon. However, it seems that with the exception of Ann of Cleves, they wanted to cast conventionally pretty women in the roles of all Henry's wives. In fact, ti's hard to think of a single major character - male or female - who isn't gorgeous!
Margaret Tudor *Portait of Mary Tudor - the show followed Mary Tudor's life but gave her the name of H8's older sister*	Neta07	Charlotte Salt (Ursula Missledon)	She would of been the PERFECT Princess Margaret, her and JRM could pull off being brother and sister, her and Cavill (in my head) would be able to pull off being a couple in love rather than Anwar & Cavill which I felt came off a cougar and a toy-boy. For me she is almost a mini Gabrielle Anwar.
Catherine Parr	Neta07	Annabelle Wallis	Seeing that the cast directors went with a blonde Cate rather than a brunette one, Annabelle would of been perfect after seeing her set of lungs in the finale she would of been able to carry off Henry's last Queen opinions but still have the motherly touch for H8's children (maybe if Briem did not leave she might of been the last Queen). Joely for me was just a little bit too old and acting off JRM they needed to make Cate look younger; not that Joely wasn't great!.
Edward VI	EdwardFan123	Zak Jenciragic	He was great as Henry Fizroy but In my head he was the Edward I pictured in my head expect with brownish red hair
