Regina Reggie19 England was never so efficiently run, as it was by his emminence. How Henry VIII took it all for granted simply astounds me. One amazing man, who worked his a** off for a troublesome country, and an insatiable King.
Jonny jonnye29 A truley brilliant politician, who i believe gave the realm some 'security', he realy was the mastermind behind Henry's early reign, having to deal with the finances, foreign affairs and so on, i doubt Henry would of got far without Wolsey.
Also Sam Neil is a excellent actor
Katie Tilly One of the great politicians of the Tudor era.
Sam Neil, excellent actor and living proof that the 'older man' can be extremely sexy!
Hannah Elliemental One of the greatest, and the definitive statesmen of his generation. Her perfected the art of statecraft and invented the peaceconference. His contribution to history is inestimable. This humble fan page will hopefully do some justice to this great man, (erm..once its finished!)
Kavitha henry's7thwife Henry's most efficient minister, Wolsey had served the Tudors since the time the dynasty was founded. He was smart, politically savvy and devoted to Henry VIII. It is just a shame that he had to live with the tag of a traitor in Protestant England for such a long time.
Carol Royalfalcon Wolsey was a remarkable man who worked tirelessly for Henry. A brilliant statesman. Sam Neil gave a superb performance to bring this character to life on the screen.
Kate HeroineAddict I can't believe it's taken me this long to join! Flamboyant, capable, a gifted statesman and mentor to his successor Cromwell, who paralleled him in his rise from nothing to greatness, Wolsey is someone to be admired rather than villified. And Sam Neill is SEXY :D
Becky HistoricQueen3 Sam Neil is one fo the best actors ever and he played Wolsey so well and made you think that that was how the real Wolsey would have been like!

Anne Kittywake09 Sam Neill did a brilliant portrayal of Wolsey. His death should never have been dramatised like that!! so wrong on every level.
