My View on the Princess Mary by Jes89

Mary tudorMary Tudor is very misunderstood throughout history, always interpreted as a cruel woman. But is that the real Mary????

She has been always portrayed as a evil queen but my opinion about this lady is very different.First of all because to understand Mary you have to try to put yourself in her place,a beautiful and intelligent princess that loses her title, her beloved mother, and have to accept a new woman in her mother's place, a new babe
girl in her place and a new religion as a plus. With all Europe agreeing that she was the heir of the English throne.

She was forbidden to see her own mother, the only person that really cared and loved her, suffering with her father's negligence and with her stepmother's bad treatment.

Like Anne Boleyn,Mary has one of the most bad propagandas i ever saw; she hadn't time to show how intel
Meet the princess - The Tudors Wikiligent and sweet she was.She loved her brother and sister and they loved her too,Elizabeth gave a beautiful funeral to her queen sister. They couldn't be with the same relationship they were like in their youth, but they shared love and respect for each other.

The breath of hope in Mary's life came with a new stepmother,a really sweet, intelligent and good to all Henry's children,Catherine Parr, who helped Mary and Elizabeth to came back to line of succession, she forget their ages(almost the same), different religions, and gave to Mary comfort and respect.

The catholic princess in a protestant nation would be only a piece out of the game, but she proved to everyone that she had the right to be a queen; in 1553 with popular support, her beloved sister princess Elizabeth and good stepmother Anne of Cleves at her side, Mary entered into London to be crowned the first queen of England in her own right.

A tragic and fascinating history about how one day you can lose everything by the hands of your own father, and still have the strength to go ahead, this is my point of view about this lady.
