Though some say that youth rules me, I trust in age to tarry. God and my right, and my duty, From them shall I never vary, Though some say that youth rules me. - a poem written by Henry VIII When we compare the present life of men on Earth with their time of which we have no knowledge; it seems to me like the swift flight of a single sparrow through a banqueting hall on a winters day. After a few moments of comfort, he vanishes from sight into the wintry world from which he came. Even so, man appears on Earth for a little while but of what went before this life or what will follow, we know nothing. ~ King Henry's voice is heard in the opening sequence of the last episode from season 4 (this is a quote from a latin work by Bede, Historia Ecclesiastica Gentis Anglorum -Ecclesiastical History of the English People, Book II, Chapter 13 written in 731 Ad)
" ...undoubtedly the rarest man that ever lived in his time... " ~ from The Pilgrim: A dialogue on the Life and Actions of King Henry the Eighth (1547) by William Thomas - a zealous protestant

Ok even before this show started Jane seymour and the whole seymour clan has just pist me off!!!!! Jane is not but a blonde Katherine who is being tutored by her brother and father in Anne's lessons. Jane is the one wife that rubs me wrong. She is considered (by many and henry himself being as he was buried beside her) to be the true wife ONLY because she is the only one that gave him a living son... ONE BIRTH!! IT makes me so mad that it took Elizabeth to make people believe that women can be used for more then sex objects!!! The only heir of Henrys that amounted to anything was that of nan boyeln...the witch. Can noone but me see irony? It makes me so angry that people want to put this women down when she was the mother (one half!!!) of the greatest monarch england has ever and will ever see! Henry was a spolied child who cared not more anyone but himself, two good women were lost because of him.. katherine and anne. Jane but herself in harms way(well her family but her there)... Anne of cleves was lucky!! we all know that....little catherine was but a child and should of never been used as she was. I grieve for Henrys wives...those who only did what was comanded of them...but Anne touches me heart and soul...and till my end of days she will be a guiding light...a strong women who if put in our time would put us all to shame with her wit and deteremination.

I wonder as Henry is lying on his deathbed and is visited by the ghosts of his victims, what will each of them say to him, and i also want to know what each of his wives will said to each other. I think KOA will say to Anne "Was it worth it? Jane to both KOA and Anne "At least I got Henry's love and gave him a son? Kitty Howard would say " It's not fair, I was too young" but with Anne it will be hard to say but i think it will be like this " No matter how i ended up at least i won this battle" ( All of Henry victims are the ones he executed)
