I'm not sure if it is the right place to post it, if not, I apologize. I found on Youtube a girl nicknamed Loepsie and she tried to re-do a hairstyle Anne wore in Season 1 ( the scene when she dancs with Henry when suddenly the Court learns about the Pope being prisoner of Charles V of Spain ). t is very clear and understandable.

Like most postees on here, I love the series, faults et al. However, with each episode drawing us closer to the end of that era, I was beginning to wonder what subtleties would be used to create the illusion of time having passed and that Henry would be in the winter of his life. Well, the answer was soon revealed. At the end of last weeks' program, Henry passed out on the floor, through - one assumes - a combination of pain and infection from the ulcerated would in his leg. With his health in doubt but his middle-aged looks still intact, the scene faded to black and the credits rolled. Would he be be found before it was too late? I tuned in last night to find that he must have been left on the floor in that fainting spell for about 20 years, because it really had taken it's toll. Without any warning, he appeared with the most dreadful aged make-up and a voice that sounded as though it belonged to a boozed-up- 80 a day smoker. I really do understand that it's very difficult to draw the whole thing to a close, but it really could have been done with more skill. I'm not talking about the acting but truly, Henry's make-up was rough and whoever told him to change his voice so much got it very wrong. It only needed to be lowered by an octive or two. My daughter loves Dr Who, and she showed me an episode where the Dr is aged on the spot. Admittedly the Dr is aged to the extreme but the make-up artist did an excellent job. Why on earth didn't they hire someone with that level of skill to create a more subtle look for Henry? He ended up looking like Clement Freud in drag. Such a shame about this, because I found it really distracting through the whole episode and didn't take it seriously after that.
