I like it in the promotional picture but not in the programme. I think the richness of the red has been tweaked a little which is a disappointing because thats what made it so beautiful. I like the gold trimmings on it though but the red really looks washed out. The sleeves are amazing though.
amore_angel

I looooooove this costume, so beautiful!!!
i want one!!!!!!! jes89

A very beautiful dress, the colour suits her well and she looks very elegant. I'm in love with the skirt but I find the bodice a little bare, perhaps it is because it's off the shoulder and she isn't wearing anything around her neck. I'm not too sure about the gold trimmings either. They aren't so bad on the bodice but I think they are out of place on the sleeves and it ruins them.
SixQueensofHenryVIII

Makes her look a little scrawny up top. A thin gold necklace with maybe one pendant jewel would have looked great. - karenofbethany

LOVE this outfit. It is very beautiful on her but I think that she needs the jewelry on her to make her look a bit better. I like the tiara on her head but I think this could have looked better. - QueenEmy191989

I love this dress, it is so elegant and the colors are very regal. It suits Margaret's personality, but I agree with you guys that she should be wearing a necklace.
MademoiselleBoleyn

I really like it, the colour suits her well and the headpiece is magnificent.

I like the lace skirt and the ruffled collar, minus a couple of ruffles coz its a bit too much. But i don't think the white goes well with her olive complexion. As i said on Anne's page, i think it looks better as Jane Seymour's underwear than a dress.
amore_angel

Oh, I love these costumes, they're so beautiful!
-Arabella_Brandon

It looks like she stripped down to her undergarments and then stuck on a tutu. It's not very classy at all, the skirt looks cheap and tacky, as does the see through bodice. Would a princss of royal blood really get away with wearing something so revealing? The paleness of the outfit clashes with her tanned complexion, I'm surprised there aren't any foundation marks on it. The crown is cute though.
SixQueensofHenryVIII

She is beautiful but I did not know they had self-tanner and lip liner/gloss back then - karenofbethany

The dress is lovely in itself, alas it does not give her justice.

The red overgown ia stunning and i love how its attatched to the gown beneath. I love the bodice but not too sure about all the mixed colours of the skirt. But from a distance its quite pretty.
amore_angel

i love this costume i love how the red compliments the peppermint underneath . - Neta07

I love it from the waist up. The red overdress is very glamorous, especially with the gold chain going across the the bodice. The red really compliments the pale colour underneath and keeps it classy. I'm not too fond of the skirt though, I think they should have kept it plain and simple rather than adding the colourful, floral pattern that has nothing to do with the rest of the dress.
SixQueensofHenryVIII

Perfect for her, perfect for the scene - karenofbethany

I love this gown. I love the red overcoat that covers the peppermint gown underneath. I think if this costume was repeated, I would have loved to see Jane Seymour wear it. -
Queen Emy191989

I love this gown, it is probably one of my favorite dresses that she wears. The color scheme is perfect and I love the materials they used!

Once again, this gown is amazing! Red is trully Margaret's colour!

This dress is amazing. I almost love every aspect of it except for the massive sleeve at the shoulder but it still works with it. The colour is delicious, and the golden embroidery is amazing. I also love the fit of the bodice and how the shape of the skirt. Such a passionate dress.
amore_angel

This is such a beautiful gown she wore for the famous "Because you love me" scene with Henry Cavill :D
-QueenMedusa

This is truly esquisite. The colour and material is divine and very befitting for her status. The subtle gold detailing works so well with the rich colour. The skirt in itself is amazing, I love how full it is yet it doesn't make her look fat at all. It's very figure flattering and the giant sleeves actually work and balances out the skirt.
SixQueensofHenryVIII

Fabric though heavy drapes so nicely, detail on sleeves is beautiful. Just enough jewelry and crown is proportioned, not overwhelming to the dress. - karenofbethany

I love the colour of this dress, and the gold decoration goes so nicely with it!
She also wears this dress, when she goes back to court and see's Henry and Anne together.
HistoricQueen3

I think this dress was great for the scene. It fits her new status as a queen, but she also seems a bit overwhelmed in it. It is a pretty dress though...even prettier with Henry Cavill next to it!
MademoiselleBoleyn

I like it, though I think Katherine Howard wore it better.

This dress is so fussy that it makes me hate it. I think the amount of gold embroidery is too much against the white. Especially with the spotted trim around the collar. The ermine fur cuffs are nicer but mismatched against the collar so it all looks odd. It would be nice if they took one or two ideas but it looks like they thought of everything possible and put it into one dress. I much prefer Jane's elegant wedding dress. I don't even lke the jewellery or headpiece. Too much going on at once.
amore_angel

There's too much going on here at once. There's too much gold and it makes it look tacky, especially as it's all thread and detail rather than a sleek fabric. The patterned fur doesn't go with the gold either and the materials clash. It doesn't even fit her that well, it looks too big around her chest and shoulder area. It's not flattering or tasteful at all, it reminds me of a dress what you'd see in 'Big Fat Gypsy Weddings'.

I wish Jane Seymour would have worn this gown at her up-coming wedding! There is such a nice balance of different fabrics. She looks a little wasted, but maybe she was up all night imagining having to consummate the marriage...a few tendrils of hair around the face would have been nice. - karenofbethany

Tis dress is just a little much. It is hard to focus on any one detail because there is so much going on with it.
MademoiselleBoleyn

This gown is rich but that is all that it has for its qualities. It ruins Margaret.

Would have been nicer with less gold on it which takes from the red. I'm getting a bit sick of seeing her in red all the time. The sleeves are magnificent though. I also love her little bracelet.
amore_angel

It's drowning her so it doesn't look that great despite it being lovely fabric. The shape of the sleeves are divine but it's ruined by the luminous yellow lining. I love the pattern on the bodice and skirt but I think it's a bit too much for it to continue into the sleeves. Plainer sleeves would have looked much better to be honest.
SixQueensofHenryVIII

Hair too plain, looks like she hasn't washed it for a while (but those were the days). Gown looks a little big on her, the color is too much like the other red ones she has already worn. I will say she has a lovely smile, and it's too bad we didn't see much of it. - karenofbethany

I LOVE this gown. I would have loved to see her wear this more during the season. I also think this dress would look better if she had worn a necklace and perhaps a tiara. -
QueenEmy191989

Gorgeous medieval dress - love the sleeves.
MsSquirrly

This dress is so gorgeous! I would love to have a dress like this. I think it was perfect for the scene she wore it in, I just wish we saw it a bit more.
MademoiselleBoleyn

This is my favorite dress of Margaret's. The colors are beautiful, and they actually look good with her complexion. Booklvr44

I do not really like it, compared to her others red/orange gowns, this one is too simple for my taste.

The dress itself is beautiful but it doesn't suit her complexion. The pale pink is so luscious and the detail on the bodice turns it from plain to pretty. I also love the lace sleeves. Its a young woman's dress and she looks quite old here. This would be the perfect dress for Jane Seymour.
amore_angel

A pretty dress, the colour is very soft and feminine. The pink lacy sleeves coming out of the satin sleeves attatched to the bodice is genius. The only thing is I think she looks too old to get away with wearing such a delicate, youthful colour. As others have said, this would have looked divine on Jane Seymour.
SixQueensofHenryVIII

Very soft and beautiful, though the color doesn't do much for her. Again, I wonder why she never wore head dresses or neck ornaments? The ladies in waiting were more fancy than her! - karenofbethany

This dress is very feminine and the pale pink seems at odds with Margarets personality in the show. This is more of a dress that I picture Jane Seymore wearing.
MademoiselleBoleyn

Lovely but does not flatter her skin complexion.

The dress beneath is pretty. I also like the lacy coat/dressing gown with the long sleeves. Can't remember this scene though, hope she's not anywhere other than her private rooms.
amore_angel

I love the lacy, see through bodice, it's very sexy. What's going on with the thing around her neck though? I also think the dressing gown, whilst pretty and flowy, is slightly too big for her.
SixQueensofHenryVIII

Is someone preparing her for the gallows here? Did she just roll out of bed? Her rosary is fancier than her dress. - karenofbethany

They started to roll her up in a winding sheet and changed their minds. -karenofbethany

This nightgown is very pretty and I love the robe. Sucks that she had to wear it for an old man.
MademoiselleBoleyn

I really like it, it's beautiful.

A bit of a boring dress. The material is dull even though it has patterns on it and i don't like the diamonds on the bodice. The arms aren't very flattering either, looks like she's got bingo wings.
amore_angel.

I never knew she was pregnant!

I like the floral pattern on the sleeves, it's very fun and keeps the colour from being too boring. She doesn't look very royal here though, I wonder if this is the Tudor equivalent of us lounging about in our scruffs.
SixQueensofHenryVIII

Even if she fell from her brother's favour, she is still a royal and above all, a duchess. She looks like a peasant here!
Marina de Champagne
MargaretGabrielle Anwar as Margaret Tudor Looks like a wench in this dress with her drinks. I do like the white blouse thing beneath though, just not for her and this time era.
amore_angel

She looks like a peasant barmaid here. "Would yer like another drink sir? And perhaps a bit of something else...."

Audition for Pirates of the Caribbean or "Let's pretend we're peasants!" - karenof bethany

haha ya I feel like she's more of a pirate here than the King's sister... -Tudor_Queen

I kinda like it, but only fr a private use.
Marina de Champagne
Princess MargaretGabrielle Anwar as Margaret Tudor Again, very peasant looking although the colour makes it look a bit more tasteful. The chemise isn't very well fitted however, she's almost popping out in the second photo.

I like the sleeves and how they're constructed. She looks very sexy though, like she's about to burst out of her corset. The colour is pretty but once again i don't think it looks right on her. The material looks nice to wear against the skin.
amore_angel

It's very '80s prom dress to me. The huge sleeves don't really work with the bare shoulders, it makes her look out of proportion. The material looks quite cheap too. The colour is very sweet and pretty but doesn't really fit in with her personality or the scene in general.
SixQueensofHenryVIII

I don't like these sleeves. They look ridiculous, as if she's trying to smuggle melons in them. -LadyLizzy

Actually I like the sleeves, my wedding dress had similar sleeves but not quite as poufy because they were chiffon. LOL - MsSquirrly

I think this dress is verry pretty and great for the scene they used it in. I probably would have used a richer color like red or purple though.
MademoiselleBoleyn

I like it, it suist her like a glove on a hand.

I love the detailing around the empire waistline, especially the band around the waist, it's so pretty! It's very flowy and beautiful in general though it looks like they couldn't decide on whether to go Grecian or 1920s Flapper so combined the two together.
SixQueensofHenryVIII

It's a shame they deleted teh scene, it would have been nice to see the Brandon family having a baby. The gown is really lovely and I like how it shows a swelling belly.
