Seen it! :) Brilliant film! Not too sure about the scene where Henry visits her in the tower though - I'm sure that didn't happen in real life! Do you find this valuable?

With the last film everybody seemed to watch the whole film and note things that they wanted to comment on. If you prefer to split it up that is fine. As long as we get some dialogue going that is the main thing. Do you find this valuable?

Very well then.......
I have to say it was funny when Anne was telling Henry what she really thought of him and Henry's like:
No one's ever spoke to me this way before!

There was some pretty costumes, I liked the brown one she wore in the tower, though what's up with Henry slapping Anne?

I sort of half watched the film again while doing housework, and talking on FB chat :P
I feel that this is a more honest portrayal of Anne. There is the ambition, as well as the seduction. Its' all mixed in quite nicely. And Genevieve Bujold has always been my favourite Anne Boleyn.

My only grips are the fictional Tower visit, and the slap mentioned above.

I personally do not like Genevieve Bujold as much as Natalie Dormer as Anne. although she was good. I also found Henry's visit to Anne in the Tower unrealistic and Henry turning up at her trial and cross examining Smeaton as decidely odd.. I will watch it again as there were a few distractions when I was viewing.. In my opinion the execution scene was not a patch on The Tudors which I thought was a superb episode. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Yeah that tower scene never happened and royalfalcon is right Henry showing up the trial and still condemning Smeaton, George, and Anne even though it's obvious that Smeaton's telling the truth??

Yes Henry established quite clearly that Smeaton had never had an affair with Anne but they were all condemned just the same - bizarre!

I believe that Henri was bipolar ( bipolar deppression or even perhaps manic deppression) wich non treated can gets worst in time.. , it would explain all the erratic behavious but also all the greatness of his character . Do you find this valuable?

It is believed to have been Henry Percy that was Anne's first love. Thomas Wyatt was obviously attracted but it was very likely not reciprocated by Anne.. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
