Royal Tiaras
Jan 30 2011, 1:38 PM EST
My screen cuts off the right side of the images....I am descended from Eleanor Of Aquetaine (for real) and plan to write a book about my family in England (and America) c. 1550-1740. I am also starting a fun group in Texas of women who wish they were Royals....a friend near Chicago has a group and they have so much fun.

Are you using the Internet Explorer browser because the website is better viewed with the Mozilla Firefox browser. It is also better for adding pics etc. Hope this helps. Do you find this valuable? |

You can see the pages better on Safari yet I can't edit on Safari so I have to move over to IE to edit and hope I can see everything.

"Unfortunately IE will distort pics if you use it to reduce the sizes so Mozilla Firefox is the best for editing...and also for viewing. Do you find this valuable? |

No-My Mother always talked about the history long before the internet. The first ancestor (William Brown) who came to America with William Penn in 1683 and that is documented. Mom's cousins did a lot of genealogy and traced William back to his mother Mary Master the daughter of Alice Estcourt Master---from there you just can go back all day long.Eleanor was one fabulous babe!!!

I see. You might want to check again and re-research. Mary who married Richard Browne Esq? Did they drop the 'E' or something? So you're saying the Estcourt family goes back.. oh. Back to the William Browne born 1658..there is a William Browne, but not finding any children. William Browne apparently didn't come to America with William Penn if you are talking about the William Browne who married firstly a Dorothy, having a son named Joseph. They came over on the Bristol Factor. So there are documents confirming the fact that William is the son of Mary Master and Richard Browne? The Estcourt family doesn't really have any connections to any nobility or royalty, just knights and barons. They also seem to go back to Welsh Lords. Do you find this valuable? |
