SPOILERS: Tudors Finale Review - Death of A Monarchy

Here is a review of the last episode, Death of A Monarchy, from Small Screen Scoop. I had promised myself not to read any spoilers but I can tell you that there is only one thing in it (maybe two) that we didn't know before, so it isn't to bad. I would advise though that if you want to be totally spoiler free, you might not want to read the article or the rest of the thread!

May I say, I am truly excited for this episode, especially when they will be mentioning Princess Margaret, maybe we can finally learn if she was the mother of 'Henry/Edward/Arthur' (the kid has a lot of names: and yes he was Arthur in season 3, it said so in the credits).

Also.... I assume from the way that the reviewer is talking, the wives (Natalie, Tamzin, Maria, Annabelle) will also appear in the opening credits. If all the wives are there, including Joely and Joss, won't that be an epic opening credits... I might start crying after watching those! The nostalgia will hit me!

I truly cannot wait for what is sure to be one of the best season finales of all time!

I think Margaret IS the mother of the boy referred to as Edward in S2, Arthur in S3, and now Henry is S4 - because wasn't she pregnant in a deleted scene?

I can't wait for the wives return, especially Maria!

Actually i think youll find it is the second wife of Charles who is Henrys son because he says something to him about his mother the Duchess being estranged from him which Brigete rebukes him for. Also if you think back to season 2 when Henry and Charles are walking in the place gardens Charles mentions that Catherine is with child! Do you find this valuable?

But Henry/Edward/Arthur is already a child by then. And we're shown Catherine continuing with the pregancy in S3, but she miscarries.

I agree. The son we were introduced to in the last episode definitely looks like a older version of the child we saw in Seasons 2 and 3, and that kid was definitely pushing 9/10 when we first saw him, at the end of season 2, which would have been the third year of marriage between the Duke and Duchess. I really sometimes think that the writers forget these tiny details, or bank on the viewers forgetting.

They don't think anyone will be as obsessed as we all are :P But, really, it shouldn't be too hard to get one charector's name to be continous throughout - And they were worried about people getting confused about having two Mary Tudors!

I was really hoping that all the wives would be in the final opening credits! :-).
