At first I was angry that Katherine didn't go off the deep end with him and then I realized, it was all in his mind. The ghosts were his mind or conscience preying on him. So, that must mean in his heart he must have known Katherine was his true wife, Anne was innocent of adultry and he had sheltered his son too much. Oh, and he should have married off Mary. Right? Do you find this valuable?
