Discuss Episode 406 Intro to Katherine Parr ATTN: SPOILERS

I was happy finally to see KP! BUT I hated a few things about this episode. When her husband told her to 'Go to hell" and having KP kissing Thomas Seymour while her husband was alive I HATED that.

What did you think about KAaherine Parr?

I thought that Katharine Parr was very sweet, and comforting in her season premiere :)

I agree with hating a few things in the episode, I have to say I missed Katharine Howard and the excitement a great deal, I feel that this was very much a fill in episode, hardly anything happened besides introducing Parr and if you missed this episode you would not have missed much. I still have an issue with Henry's weight, I feel in some scenes he looks exactly as he did in seasons2/3, there are only 3 more episodes left and he is still small...

Anyway, I am hoping that some more excitement comes about in these last 3 episodes besides the wives scene where I cant wait to see Anne. Do you find this valuable?

I AGREE with you!!! I heard they were going to pad him he still looks trim to me have you seen the pics for Cavill in his new movie yet..WOW andf double wow

Other than the things I did not like at all andI wonder WHY her husband told her to go to hell
I loved Joley as KP..LOVE HER!!

I didn't really like how it showed she was already with Seymour while her husband was still alive either. I can understand why it was put in there though. This woman is in love with Seymour, but can't have him because she is already married to this old guy. He's basically on his death bed and she's waiting for him to die so she can marry her true love, only to find out she's going to have to wait even longer because she has to marry another old guy. Quite a predicament she's in. I assume it was protrayed this way to increase the drama. Do you find this valuable?

Why did Lord Latimer tell Catherine,"Go to hell" on his deathbed? Was it because he knew she was in love with Seymour, or because the King was sending her gifts? Do you find this valuable?

Henry was sporting a bit of a muffin top belly when he had his snog with Katherine after she suggested he was too busy for her. Now I have a muffin top belly and I am only 3 pounds over my maximum recommended weight, whereas the real Henry weighed hundreds of pounds by this time. 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

I really liked the ep. I thought it hit all the right notes, particularly with the relationships among UK, France and Spain. YOu could really see what was at stake and get a good insight into Henry's shrewdness as a politician. I found Henry's interaction with Katherine Parr to be rather touching I found myself feeling sorry for her and him at the same time. ANd how cute was Edward? Do you find this valuable?

I quite liked that it showed a little bit of Katherine Parr and Thomas Seymour, as i was hoping they may have shown her earlier in the series with him. I actually felt quite sorry for the fact that her and Thomas couldn't have married like they hoped to do, sorry for both of them, and that's saying something considering how disgusted i am by how he will treat her when he eventually marries her. I have to also add that i thought Andy and Joely worked quite well together too, the only issue, and its very small, that i have is that the age gap is quite evident between Andy and Joely as she is supposed to be around the same age as Mary Tudor, but other than that i enjoyed the fleeting scenes between them. Do you find this valuable?
