During the scene where Katherine Howard is dancing for King Henry in the bedroom while wearing the gold crown there is this classical/devotion song playing where a woman is singing, does anyone know that song?? It is beautiful!

I know exactly what you mean...The part when she peeks through the curtains at him and the camera zooms in on her face is startling as well. Her face looks so soft, innocent, and childlike - in an almost ghostly manner - as she peers in at him. I can't quite describe it, but that camera shot gave me chills! It was quite eerie, particularly when paired with that particular musical score. She looks so very young - and DOOMED... 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Yes exactly!!! I've been dying to find out what that song is playing in the background, and have searched all over iTunes but I can't seem to find it! Any idea of what the name of the song is?

I would like to find out where we can find ALL of the background music played on the show - it is fantastic, but there are no credits given for it anywhere - UGH! If anyone can locate any of this music, it would be SO GREAT!!!! Do you find this valuable? |

I know!!! I've looked everywhere and can't find any credits to the music, I know a lot of it is original scores by Trevor Morris but it's not available for season 4! So frustrating! I'll keep looking and if I find anything I'll keep you posted, and you do the same! :)

Isn't it "Catherine Howard's fate"? I know the Blackmore's Night made a version of it but I think it was also a more ancient and popular song... ;)

I noticed that David Fallis is listed in the credits as providing the period music - i.e. the music used for most of the dance and feast scene. I haven't managed to find the song you;re looking for ascarski, but I did find these on Itunes:'Basse-dance "Jouissance" - The Toronto Consort. Used iin Season 1 Ep 8 when Henry and Anne dance 'Mr. Beveridge's Magot' - Jeremy Barlow & The Broadside Band. Used in feast scenes in Season 2 Ep 8 & 9 'An Italian Rant/The Chirping of the Larke/ The 29th of May - The Toronto Consort. The first part was used in variouse feast scenes in Season 1 and in the puppet show from Season 4 Ep 1. The last part was used for Henry and Jane's wedding feast in Season 3 Ep 1. Hope that helps! does anyone know what the music is in the final scene when Henry is looking at his portrait and remembering his life? It also played when he sees Jane washing her hair.
