Henry VIII or Henry V111?
Apr 21 2010, 2:51 PM EDT | Post edited: Apr 21 2010, 2:51 PM EDT
Just a point of trivia, I notice that some people type V111 and actually roman numerals are based on letters of the alphabet like this :

I = 1
V = 5
X = 10
L = 50
C = 100
D = 500
M = 1000

So it is actually VIII and not V111

just to be a know it all. it really would have been Henry UIII. they didnt used the letter "V" (and for that matter "J" ) well and also no one ever called a king "the eighth, the seveth etc." just King Henry. trivia :) 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
