Did you know that Michael Jackson owned one of the most beautiful castles and estates in Ireland called Luggala Estate which has been used a lot in the filming of The Tudors? Check it out here : http://tudorswiki.sho.com/page/The+Tudors+Set+Locations

He and his 3 children stayed there on a vacation and loved it so much that he bought it in 2007.

I find that interesting. Another intriguing fact is that Ireland reportedly has a notable clinic that specializes in treating vitiligo, from which he suffered. That castle looks like a lovely place in which for his children to roam about while he dealt with that matter, assuming of course, that that's why he was there.
It's been reported that MJ loved Ireland, at any rate, and amid the red roses on his gilded casket were Bells of Ireland. -A touching tribute, indeed.

Just letting you folks know that for nearly three months now, fans of the late Michael Jackson have had an e-mail campaign to get the Grammy Awards(considered a far more respectable venue than the MTV Awards) to honor him with an annually presented Humanitarian Award in his name, not unlike the Jean hersholt Awards presented on Oscar Night.
Jackson has held the Guinness World Record as the entertainer supporting the Most Charities since 2000. The website thesilencedtruth.com chronicles all four decades of his humanitarian work around the world.
The concept was first broached via a thread in the Michael Jackson Community of Amazon.com entitled "A Proposition for the MTV Awards". But as posters left their remarks on the thread, it was agreed that The Grammys would be a classier venue for such a presentation.
Some of the charities to which Michael contributed, such as the T.J. Martell Foundation, USA For Africa, and The Elizabeth Taylor HIV/AIDS Foundation have been informed about this endeavor. Their input on it could prove invaluable.
Those interested in expressing support of the idea may contact the Grammys at : ranews@grammy.com
