1. RE: Will we ever see Thomas Cranmer again?

I think we'll have to see Cranmer otherwise we'll miss a great scene between him and Kitty Howard when he sees her in the tower. He said he never so anyone in such distress and anyone would pity her if they saw her.

They HAVE to bring back Cranmer! He is just such a important figure in Tudor History, I couldn't believe it that they didn't have Cranmer at all in Season 3. They need to bring him back.... =O

"He said he never so anyone in such distress and anyone would pity her if they saw her. "Thats kind of weird as Cranmer was the one who 'told on her' in the first place. I agree bring him back for season 4 please! Do you find this valuable? |

Yes, Hans must return, and unlike Norfolk, no way should he be recasted, Cranmer is too important for season 4 to just bypass him, he is, afterall, the one who tells the King of her indiscretions!

He will have to be brought into it. At the very least for the Katherine Howard storyline. Be nice to see him being used in the same job as Thomas Cromwell for Anne Boleyn's execution. Also as a strong defender and ally of Anne Boleyn it will be interesting to see if he supports Elizabeth during the 4th Season, with the possibility of some tension between him and Mary. Also if there is a potential follow up series he will be a useful character to have.

I would also have thought that Thomas Cranmer should return in series 4. He is such a vital part of the Katherine Howard storyline. It is he that puts a note on Henry's seat in The Chapel Royal at Hampton Court informing the King of Katherine's adultery. He also led a delegation of Councillors to interrogate her - surely these duties cannot be handed over to the already overworked Dule of Suffolk!! They`ll probably just give his role to Edward Seymour.

"In the Season 4 promo, someone can be heard saying, "She has betrayed you!"UGHHHH! Edward Seymour has just done so much wrong! Poker in the bum, being cold and uncaring toward his sister in telling her about their father's passing and snapping at her to not be sad, and him not caring about his wife sleeping around with that dirty pirate Bryan. UGH. lol. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

UGH.Thomas needs to be back to stay true to Catherine's downfall otherwise who will deliver the news? "To his next and last interposition in the matrimonial affairs of the king no discredit attaches itself. When he was made cognizant of the charges against Catherine Howard, his duty to communicate them to the king was obvious, though painful" Do you find this valuable? |

UGH.Edward Seymour, Thomas Seymour, Francis Bryan - i have to say, i hate one-dimensional villains. While accuracy in Season 3 seemed to be far better than the previous seasons, character development was certainly shoved directly off the table. Pity, if it was one thing i adored about the show, it was how they humanized people. They just couldn't have been bothered this time. On that note, i've been reading a little about Thomas Seymour recently, and i have to ask, is there anything positive about that man? Its been bugging me, because while i can find endearing traits in a lot of these people, Seymour is completely lacking in them it seems? 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

"Thomas needs to be back to stay true to Catherine's downfall otherwise who will deliver the news?I think all three you've mentioned were greedy, scheming scumbags who would sell their granny for a penny. The vicar of hell profiting from dissolution of monastries and don't get me started on Seymours especially that shyster Thomas. Whatever I've read about him he has no redeeming qualities at all the nasty flattering seducer of young girls and adulterer. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I do not think that Thomas Seymour's historical C.V read all that well.1) Married Catherine Parr with indecent haste after Henry's death. 2) Tried to seduce the Princess Elizabeth when she was living at his home = right under the nose of his aforementioned wife - who was pregnant at the time. 3) Tried to kidnap Edward V1 - killing his dog in the process. Those are just a few that I can think of off the top of my head - I am sure I can think of a lot more if I put my mind to it!! 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

"I do not think that Thomas Seymour's historical C.V read all that well.He was just a nasty, greedy, ambitious pervert who preyed on a vulnerable young girl like you say under his wife's back. There are names for him now but I'm too ladylike - I think you've guessed I hate the philandering dog. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
