Interesting question. I know that Norfolk didn't die until the mid 1550s, yet Henry Czerny seemed to have a pretty busy schedule starring in various television roles after The Tudors S1, the most recent being "Prayers For Bobby." Still, they all should have been replaced or continued the show before making plans to work elsewhere.

"all these characters lke, norfolk, thomas tallis ,sir anthony,cranmer ect ,,,they dient die so how come they arent in season 2 or 3?"The actors who played them decided not to continue on with the Tudors so unfortunately, their characters didn't reappear in later seasons. Joe van Moyland (Tallis) has decided to take a hiatus from acting so he can concentrate on music. Hans Matheson (Cranmer) is still acting in various projects but dropped out of The Tudors to work on other projects (he's shooting in Guy Richie's new Sherlock Holms film now). Henry Czerny (Norfolk) had disagreements with the creators on how involved his character should be and he left the Tudors. Callum Blue (Knivert) I think broke his arm or some other sort of accident in 2008 around the time season 2 was shooting and missed out on that. He's been involved in other projects since then like "The Secret Diary of a Call Girl" and other movies so I'm not sure if he had time to get back in the Tudors. Do you find this valuable? |
