Favorite Jane Seymour
Who is your favorite actress to have played Jane based on both looks and portrayal. I feel Emilia Fox and Anne Stallybrass did the best versions of Jane Seymour. Anne was a good soul who wished no ill on anyone yet I feel her Jane was less of a blank slate than Annabell Wallis portrayed. Annabelle's Jane kind of came off as fake and with no real personality. I did like her in the role but IMO she fell into the old trap of not delving deep enough into Jane the person. Emilia is a runner up to Jane, she also came off as sweet and loving but with a will and back bone, even more so than Anne. In the case of looks she was definitely too beautiful based on portraits Jane was the least attractive wife and I believe even her contemporaries had a hard time praising her looks. Emilia was the most beautiful Queen in the production. I can only assume that most people who have seen her in Henry VIII will remember the scene of her confronting the king about the deaths of the rebels and standing up to him, of course it ended badly but it that scene definitely gave Jane more substance than she is given in most productions.
I feel Wendy Barrie was the worst Jane along with Jane Asher.

Briem or Wallis?
What, exactly, is the reason Ms Briem did not return as Jane Seymour for the rest of the Tudors? I've wondered why she didn't return to play lady seymour. not that i'm complaining, i haven't got anything against either of them. (i should probably be more supportive of Ms Briem, being that she's Scandinavian and i'm all into Scandinavian culture)

Missing Character
I miss the girl, that played Princess Elizabeth on here.Laoise Murray or so was her name. She played Elizabeth very welll,
she had a certain grace about herself, quite a bit of her mother's personality I'd say (-:
