Who do you believe portrays Queen Elizabeth I the BEST?
It's hard to choose an exact one but my choices are Glenda Jackson, Helen Mirren, & Cate Blanchett. My top pick would be Glenda Jackson. Elizabeth R was a stunning movie and Jackson portrayed Elizabeth I beautifully.

This site is very interesting indeed. I am actually watching Anne of the Thousand Days. I am a Tudor lover, especially a Elizabeth I fan, therefore making me a Ann Boleyn fan too. Thanks for this interesting and educational site.

How Much
I always wondered how much Henry VIII cared for Elizabeth. He favored her as a baby but then her mother fell out of favor. Did Henry have residual feelings about Anne that sometimes blinded him towards Elizabeth? How much did he care for Elizabeth, he one hair who became the greatest Queen England has known?

To whoever updated the Princess Mary costume page, thank you. It is greatly appreciated. To comment on the new red dress, I think Mary should have worn it at Christmas, for some reason it gives me the feeling of Christmas and would have been better than the peacock gown which I still feel is overrated.

I must say, I'm looking very forward to seeing Mary in the so called "Peacock Gown" Joan Burgen was talking about that she wears in the brief period when Henry is between Queens and she becomes his hostess for parties in S4.
