Dereham's Execution
What was he actually executed for? He admitted that slept with Katherine but that was long before she became involved with the King. Did they think that they continued the affair when she became Queen or was he thought to be somehow involved with her affair with Culpepper? Or was it because he failed to say that he had slept with the Queen and so was witholding information from the King that she wasn't a virgin. Was that even a crime?
I felt so sorry for him because he got such a horrible death and he didn't really do anything to deserve it other than sleeping with a girl who he may have had intentions of marrying some day. He was a bit horrible in the programme though, it was strange seeing Allen Leech playing such a nasty when he usually plays such sweet guys like in Rome and Downton Abbey.
