Season 3 & Season 1-3 Box Set News For Australians!
The wait is almost over in owning The Tudors Season 3 in Australia! I was looking up the wonderful JB HI-FI! and decided to check Tudors (hoping that S3 would be out for Christmas!) and it will. You can pre-order S3 at the link below:

I have to say that I am impressed with the cover art! Finally Mr Cavill gets to be on the cover! And so does the fantastic James Frain. Of course JRM is center with Annabelle on his arm and like she is hiding behind Cavill is Charlotte Salt! All in all I am impressed with the cover! It has the picture of JRM, Cavill and Frain and then they photoshopped Annabelle and Charlotte from other photos into it! In my opinion though it looks to be a photo of Charlotte that I for one have never seen before. Might have been an out take. You can also pre-order the Blu-Ray version on the site as well.
Also for anyone that wants all the Seasons so far in one neat pack, you can buy the Tudors - The Complete Seasons 1-3 and in fact it is kind of a reasonable price. Link is below for that one:

is it me or do u think that Lady Ursula was there for one thing and one thing only. Just to get into bed with the king. Did you see the way she looked at the king on his own wedding. When I first saw her I could see that she was going to be trouble.

Season 3: New Cast, New Characters (spoilers!)
Since season two has ended racking up such a high body count, it's only logical the writers and creators are bringing in fresh characters to replace the absent characters we've come to love (Smeaton, Anne Boleyn, Katherine of Aragon, More, Fisher, Wolsey, George Boleyn, etc.). Production as many of you know has been going on for over a month now in Ireland and while Showtime is very tight-lipped about what the next season will bring, however, there have been leaks on the internet from reputable sources. Here's what we know so far, if you don't want to read "spoilers" READ NO FURTHER.
Charlotte Salt, who we have suspected to have been cast as a "love interest" of Henry VIII has been cast in the role of a fictional mistress named Lady Ursula Misseldon. She will be appearing in five episodes as a muse of the artist Hans Holbein, which means we get to see more Peter Gaynor! Salt's character also catches the eye of a new couriter on the scene, Sir Francis Bryan who will be played by Canadian actor Alan Van Sprang. Also, according to Tudors News, casting is looking for July newborns to play Prince Edward! Which means, if the writers follow their history, Jane will die this season. http://thetudorsnews.wordpress.com/2008/07/09/chance-for-a-newborn-to-be-a-star-of-the-tudors/
