The Duchess
Yes I read an article where they compared the heroine to Diana but can`t find that particular one...here is another which discusses the similarities.

Antonia Fraser
Has anyone read her book on The Duchess of Devonshire (Georgiana Cavendash)? I have it in my room along with the one on Marie Antoinette but haven't gotten around to reading them yet. It's one of the few books I've ever seen about Georgiana she seems to have had an interesting life.
Just a question about the Marie Antoinette book she doesn't credit her with that stupid "Let them eat cake" line right? Cause frankly I don't think I would believe a word in the book if she did, since it was said by a different French Queen 100 years earlier....and for some reason I am blanking on her name.

Prince Harry
"I have one more question about the current monarchy, The rumors have been going on for years that he's not the child of Prince Charles and when I look at butler who is rumored to be the father and Prince Harry there is a big resemblance and it could be he looks more like Diana but he certainly does resemble the butler. Do you think there should be a blood test mandated and does anyone else debate his legitimacy. You can definently see some resemblance in William and Charles, I even noticed William's hair starting to thin in the middle. I think there should be a testand that the english people deserve one since they provide for him" No, I do not think a blood test is warranted . Since no would want to ruin a good women name. However, Princes Harry do favor Diana's butler, especially with his red hair. Didn't the Diana's butler once claim he was a descendants of Elizabeth of York's family? or something like that?
Note: I think it would be kinda fitting if Princess Harry did turn out to be the butler's son, after all, Princess Diana is a descendants of Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire (aka The Duchess) LOL!

Who were you in History?
"Ok, I'll give this a whirl (be as cruel as you like, I don't mind lol!)
Izzy22" OK i think i got it Izzy! :D I think that you are part Madame Curie & part Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire...she was a celebrated beauty and a socialite who gathered around her a large circle of literary people to amuse one another and partly to refine their taste and increase their knowledge through conversation and readings (which makes me think of when u come on here & have us all stumped in the WHO AM I GAME..lol! :D & also sharing your knowledge of what you know about The Tudors as well) ...And she was also an active political campaigner (Go Team Brandon) :D ... Hope u like the person i picked for u :D ohhh, and also you definitely could have been Princess Mary Tudor of England, The Duchess of Suffolk ...if the Duke looked like Henry Cavill!! :D

Other Historical interests?
I'm also interested in the times during the US civil war. Not the war itself, but the people and how they lived, slavery and the slaves relationships to their owners. I've also read up quite a bit on Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire, and Marie Antoinette, who were actually good friends. I have an interest in ancient Egypt, but haven't read anything yet....but I loved Rome! lol
