DESCRIPTION: From the archive's home page: "
British History Online is the digital library containing some of the core printed primary and secondary sources for the medieval and modern history of the British Isles. Created by the Institute of Historical Research and the History of Parliament Trust, we aim to support academic and personal users around the world in their learning, teaching and research."

Simply type in the Search Box particular names and events to find information on primary sources. This is usually cited as "LP" in most Tudor history bibiliographies.
Link: http://www.british-history.ac.uk/ Cost: Some materials are free to look at, others must be purchased. But a large amount of great primary sources from the Tudor period are available for free!

DESCRIPTION: From Apple's website:
"Learning no longer happens only at a desk. Students now expect constant access to information, no matter where they are. Which is exactly why more and more faculty are using iTunes U to distribute digital lessons to their students."

COMMENT: This is a fantastic way to listen in to some world-class lectures if you do not have the time or money to attend the actual class.

worldcat.org allows you to type in a book that you are looking for and then displays all of the nearby libraries which have it. You can usually request interlibrary loan through their site.

DESCRIPTION: The Anglo-American Legal Tradition website (AALT) provides free access to UK National Archives documents (22 legal and financial series) from 1200 to 1650AD. The site currently houses 5.2 million frames of material and includes common law plea rolls, equity decrees and orders, memoranda rolls, pipe rolls, etc.
