Being born in the 16th Century was about as much fun as a poke in the eye - the Plague made more comebacks than Status Quo and leeches were the Tudor's answer to Prozac. But what if not only had you been born in that century, but you had also caught Henry's wandering eye? Which wife would you have preferred to have been if you had a choice? If I had to choose, my vote would go to Anne Boleyn - she was definitely the most interesting wife. :)

Even though both women died in childbirth, I feel they left a huge impact on Henry VIII. I think even with all his very blood bits of personality, these women helped soften him and bring for the gentler human man underneath the kingly hard-fisted monarch.
