Hey all-

Does anybody have suggestions for novels to read regarding the Tudor period? Actual novels, not biographies- novels like Phillpa Gregory or Alison Weir's "Innocent Traitor", or Jean Plaidy's novels. I like to read it with a little flair and dialogues! Suggestions are welcome! I want to read more.

Thanks!

If y'all can get this book, do it, or at least check it out at the library. I love it. Of course, I like Cromwell and am not a big More fan. So, I would like this book:) But, it is well written and brings Tudor England to vivid life. It's very sympathetic toward Cromwell, but doesn't paint him as a saint...just a man fighting for a better life for himself and his family. It's funny, sad, intriguing, and gives another very different and completely plausible view of what we thought we knew of Cromwell, More, Wolsey, Henry, Anne B, and so many others.

I can't put it down :)

Can anyone please tell me of a good novel to do with Bloody Mary. I find this woman fasinating, and I love reading about her.

On a different subject, has anyone read The Other Queen by Philippa Gregory? I began reading it yesterday and am totally engrossed, like all P.G books, it is fab! It is about Mary Queen of Scots, I have another book on Mary, it is Mary Queen Of Scotland adn The Isles, by Margaret George, I have not read this book yet, I have a number of Margaret George books, but have not read any as yet, are they any good?
