"OK, i've been a pretty poor member of the wiki as of late, and a pretty poor Team Leader as well, not only did i miss Cromwell's anniversary this year i missed Jamie's birthday too, who turned 29 this year, and has probably already celebrated with his gorgeous girlfriend =D

But, as an act of apology, i finally managed to make it to Sherborne Abbey when i went to England this year, and finally got to see Thomas Wyatt's grave. I had already emailed a vicar at the abbey, who kindly sent some pictures of the plaque, but that was nothing compared to actually seeing it myself. The abbey itself is stunning, the stained glass windows are amazing, the size is immense and i was shaking with awe from head to toe when i entered, and when i left again. Wyatt's grave can be found on the west side of the abbey, the plague set into the floor isn't actually where he's buried, his body is suspected to be in the Horsey Vault right next to it, this is considered to be strange because a man of Wyatt's standing would have traditionally had a family plot where he should have been buried, but instead he shares the family plot of John Horsey and his family. Horsey was a friend, and it was in his house that Wyatt apparently died. I managed to get my hands on a small book with some of Wyatt's poems and a short bio in it too, like a small token of memorabilia if you will =D I'll add pictures to the wiki as soon as i get them developed ;D"
