About he's the one to be watching this Season.. forget Jonathan(Henry) - so I was reading about him.. what he likes in a girl, etc. something just got to me.. to think he's my age as well. I'm starting to feel old... anyway, through watching Season 3, I have been really getting into his character. He has totally changed and for the better. I really did not like the whole playboy side. Now this is one courtier you could not take your eyes off of! And this season I think he really shines I believe. I'm always wondering what's gonna happen next! I knew about Charles Brandon way before 'The Tudors' TV series started, since Tudor history has always been one of my greatest passions, but now I've seen Henry Cavill playing Brandon, he has become one of my favourite people in this fascinating period of English history. I adore the true story of Princess Mary secretly marrying Charles Brandon, without the King (her brother) knowing, it's just like a fairytale or disney movie, except it's better because it actually did happen! I also admire Charles & Mary of Suffolk because their granddaughter is my favourite figure in the whole of history; the 'Nine Days Queen', Lady Jane Grey. Well, better end it there, or I'll be typing forever... Go Team Cavill/Brandon!!! |

Though it is all down to Henry bringing the Duke to life in such a vivd and heart-warming way. He plays Charles with such passion and is able to easily transform from a raunchy playboy to a devoted family man. Such a flawed character yet ooh so loveable. Top that off with a sapphire blue eyes and a perfectly ripped body he can be might knight in shining armour any day. |
