Actor Bio: Born in Ireland of Italian descent, actor Sonya Macari trained at The Gaeity School of Acting and at the Herbert Bergoff Studios in New York City. Sonya now lives in LA where she is building on the success she has achieved as a stage and screen actress.

Her screen debut was in "The clinic" (Ireland's answer to ER!) followed by a recurring role in "The Tudors" . Since moving to Hollywood various theatre roles have included cabaret singer, gangster's wife and a murderous teenager. Sonya took the lead in a movie shortlisted for the 2009 Santa Barbara Film Festival and has made appearances in Grey's Anatomy and Nip Tuck.
