Edmund died the following November, leaving Margaret a 13-year-old widow who was seven months pregnant with their child, the future Henry VII. She had no children with either her second husband Sir Henry Stafford, or her third husband Lord Thomas Stanley. | Philip II of Spain | Info: Born 1527 - died 1598 (71 yrs old) Reigned 1556 - 1598 He was known for his solemnity and predilection for wearing black (it seemed he was constantly in mourning). Although having a reputation for being deeply religious & cruel to non-catholics, he was also known as a cultured renaissance prince with a nostalgia for chivalry and medieval jousts. Philip grew up to be an outsider and carried this flaw with him into leadership. He never fully trusted anyone and so was incapable of calling upon others resources to aid him. He controlled a multi-cultural empire but was held very basic skills in the languages which he needed to communicate with all of his subjects. |

One of the most asked questions on the wiki has been, when or if there will be another series of The Tudors carrying on with Edward, Jane Grey, Mary and Elizabeth. Michael Hirst the creator and writer of the series was recently at the Mary Rose Museum and was asked this question and you can listen to his answer here :

How could it be season five of anything? It would have to be season one of a new series surely!
You cannot mix a prequel with a sequel! I assume that you are talking about two series; one for the start of the dynasty and two or three for the rest of the dynasty. However, I need to point out that Lady Jane Grey has been written out of history by the Tudors and another oner of their historical mess ups. In the Tudors, not only did Charles Brandon marry the wrong sister; that is Margaret instead of Mary; he only had one child in the Tudors, although he did refer to his last wife Catherine having one or two pregnancies, but they would not be heirs to the throne. In the Tudors he only appears to have a son, with changing names, Henry, Arthur, Edward and back to Henry again. In real life he had three children by Princess Mary who were heirs to the throne: Henry who died in 1534, Lady Frances Grey, mother of Lady Jane Grey, the one who stole Mary's throne for 9 days, and Lady Eleanor Clifford, Countess of Cumberland. In the Tudors; the girls are not even mentioned, so were is Lady Jane Grey going to come from? Or is Lord Henry Brandon from the Tudors going to have a daughter called Jane Grey and hey presto history is some how restored! The Tudors finished were it was because it had made enough errors with history. It was a great series and it would be good to see more, but how; history has been changed!
