Edward had respect for his female relatives; it is known he is "cold" so it is unlikely he had certain love interests. As for it, John Dudley told Edward to choose her, Edward did not think of her because Jane was his daughter-in-law so obviously he wanted that to happen. And Jane is Edward's second cousin. And he was very religious so I doubt he would want to think in that way during his teenage years. And yes, Edward did open hospitals and free schools for the disabled and poor. And yes again, recently modern historians challenge Edward being a sickly child because people who saw him called him a "merry and tall child" and people tend to forget Mary of Scots was smuggled out of France and got engaged and Lady Jane Grey was older than Edward and she got married when he was alive! Edward hated burning people unlike Mary but he was harsh on Catholics. But then Edward might have changed if Catherine Parr lived longer and supported him. He needed love since when he was reigning he had a tough time since Mary was a Catholic and Elizabeth had an affair with Thomas Seymour, his uncle. Edward seems to be a bit more sane than his father but who knows?
