Since graduating she has worked in extensively in productions for TV, Film and Theatre. Actor Bio: Before joining Casualty Joanne worked as a BBC tour guide. Mostrecent televisionroles include Nancy in Massive for BBC opposite hit comedian Jonny Vegas; Brandi in Shameless (Channel 4). Other TV credits include Trial and Retribution directed by Gillies McKinnon (ITV); The Omid Jhalili show (BBC); The Exile Files (TG4); Fair City (RTE). Perhaps most notably is her portrayal of angsty series regular 'Cyd' on Casualty for BBC (42 episodes). Theatre credits are What the Dead Want and Elysian Juniors directed by Jimmy Fay (Project), The Playboy of the Western World with Yew Tree Theatre Company, Carolling Corcorans at The Ark, A Midsummer Night's Dream (Pavilion) and most notably Ophelia in Hamlet at The Cork Opera House opposite The Wind that Shakes the Barleys' Padraic Delaney. Film includes the title role of 'Girl' in award winning short film The Wonderful World of Kevin Kind (Fastnet Films) andBoy Eats Girl directed by Stephen Bradley (Element Films).
