Autism
Autism is a lifelong developmental disability. It is part of the autism spectrum and is sometimes referred to as an autism spectrum disorder, or an ASD. The word 'spectrum' is used because, while all people with autism share three main areas of difficulty, their condition will affect them in very different ways. Some are able to live relatively 'everyday' lives; others will require a lifetime of specialist support.

The three main areas of difficulty which all people with autism share are sometimes known as the 'triad of impairments'.

They are:

I'm really sorry. I studied this disease at school and I know an autistic boy. His life to the nursery school isn't easy. I think your life isn't easy too, in particular, at school or on your job. But remember: "autism often mask people's intelligence" and " some autistic people have extraordinary talent out of the ordinary.

Both of my sons suffer from autism so I know well the difficulties. I really hope that one day they find a cure as we have all been to hell and back and still continue to face constant new challenges that will never go away. Life will never be easy for them and you have the constant worry of what will happen when you are no longer around.

I hope Autism doesn't make you feel on the edge. Lots of people have it and I have lots of things that makes me feel on the edge too; I have a bladder infection and my mum is dyslexic, I am really sick *coughs up red stuff*, and I have never had long hair, EVER. Once I saw a movie and a man in his 30's had autism but didn't know. In the end, when he found out, he was known by the world as a hero.
