Actor Bio:Born in 1984 in Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, UK, Annabelle Wallis spent much of her younger years in Portugal attending an international school. She performed in several small short films before catching her first major movie role in the Bollywood film,Dil Jo Bhi Kaheyas Sophie Besson in 2005.She had a small guest starring role on the hour-long dramaJerichoand was then cast in the movieTrue True Lieas Paige, followed by a stint as Kelly Fisher in the made for TV movieDiana : Last Days of a Princess.Two more small roles in the filmsSteel TrapandBody of Liesfollowed, but it was in 2008, after Anita Briem exited the role of Jane Seymour on Showtime’s hit showThe Tudors, that Annabelle gained a wider audience.   • I was born in Oxford and spent a good amount of my time in Portugal too. Then I moved back to London and that is where I stay now. My father is an actor himself while my uncle Richard Harris was a big actor in Hollywood too. In my mind I always wanted to act, though I was very private about this decision of mine. It was in the year 2002 when I started working full time as an actor. I got myself a private coach from a drama school who taught me a lot about acting. Then I started doing some independent films.     • I was always really interested in that period of time ... so I knew of Jane Seymour, and luckily for me, she's the most beloved queen. She was a very amiable, good queen, a peacemaker... . And of course, she's far less obvious than someone like Anne Boleyn. I think there's an intelligence behind her lack of obviousness. In a way, she has more power that way, and if she had survived [giving] birth, she would have gone to become quite an incredible queen. [On the historical Jane Seymour]
    • To me, it came across as someone who was very composed, very secure... . She was Henry's rock, and she brought a lot of confidence back into the court. I wanted to make it clear that she's not a stupid woman, that she's not weak. She tests her boundaries, she pushes the envelope as much as she can, but you have to put her back in her place. In a way, it's almost protective of Henry, in that he stops her in a situation that may be not so beneficial for her, and oversteps her line.[On her performance on Jane Seymour]

    OK, just saw the movie last night, and finally!! I thought the second X-Men movie would be the last good one I ever saw after the carnage Brett Ratner caused in the third one, and I'm not even going to comment on the Origins one, but I thought my Tudor chums would like to know that Annabelle did a very brief cameo in the earlier scenes of the movie, for those of you who aren't already aware that she's set to star in it. It's brief though, but she's the girl with one blue eye and one green eye that Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) attempts to flirt with. You'll spot her immediately.

    According this source: http://www.absolumentmadonna.fr/posts/20100827-en2-madonna-annabelle-wallis-talks-about-we.php Annabelle has been cast in Madonna's flick which is also staring our own Natalie Dormer!, I think it's great that Natalie and Annabelle have been cast in the same movie as they never had a scene together on the show (Anita played Jane in season two) and they are my two fav Tudor actresses. Looks like Annabelle is playing someone foreign.

    Just found this in the Irish Mirror and thought i'd post it, just to get your opinions on it, is it an excuse, or do you think it's true?

    "Jonathan Rhys Myers and his new queen had such severe laughter fits on the set most of their scenes got the chop. Annabelle Wallis who plays doomed Jane Seymour in the third series of the Tudors, say they found it impossible to take things seriously. The 25 year old added that their dance scenes were so bad that they had to be axed. She told tv guide 'We had a coreographer, but if you noticed, any scenes with Jonathan and I is cut down. We were the worst. 'Two people dancing is so different than how you dance now. It's very uptight. Also, when you become good friends, and then you try to dance, it's very hard. We were hysterically laughing all the time. We couldn't take it seriously so they cut us out'.
