ANYWAYS..AFTER SOME DISCUSSIONS WITH THREE OF OUR MEMBERS OF OUR WONDERFUL TUDOR WIKI FAMILY GAVE ME A GREAT IDEA! I REALLY THINK THIS IS A GOOD IDEA...(some of my discussions seem to not be) this IS a good one!
MANY of us have traced our Ancestors...some not...BUT Would you LIKE to know WHERE your Ancestors were during THE TUDOR ERA?
AND IF SOME of us WERE CONNECTED in the Tudor Era in some way, shape, or form?
THIS could be interesting? WE COULD BE CHATTING WITH OUR DISTANT FAMILIES...AND NOT KNOW IT?
I found that a direct Ancestor Katherine Gordon MARRIED a 'pretender to the throne against Henry VIII' -Perkin Warbeck! And my
family the GORDON CLAN had two memebers beheaded by Queen Mary of Scots!
So, lets find out and share ...what old Grand dad was doing back then...And Granny...could she have been
a mistress to royalty, or Royal herself? ...Old Uncle____ was he a Defender of the House of York or Lancaster..
Or did Grand dadgethishead 'chopped off'?...Granny a member of a royal house? What was your Scottish family doing..
What was your Spanish family doing? French? Italians? Irish? Berbers? Asian?
SOMEHOW we MAY be all connected....
Who was our best ancestors and worst and funniest in TUDOR HISTORY?

The question of the relationship between Elizabeth I and Elizabeth II is often asked. If you track the ancestry of Elizabeth II back for 14 generations you arrive at James V, a first cousin of Elizabeth I. James died when Elizabeth was 9 years old. So Elizabeth I and Elizabeth II are first cousins, 14 time removed via this bloodline.
Sophia (generation #10) has at least 7,000 legitimate descendants and probably several times that number via illegitimate lines. It is quite possible that Henry 7th has well over 100,000 living descendants (via legitimate lines). Many illegitimate lines are traced as well. So it is very possible that two or more people using this site are both descendants of Henry the 7th.
