As well as his musical talents Henry excelled at sports
such as archery, jousting, tennis & wrestling.
He actually wrestled with the King of France at The Field of Cloth of Gold
sadly he lost, although English honour was restored when
he won at archery.


Cardinal Wolsey was very grand indeed. He was King Henry's
brilliant administrator. He owned Hampton Court Palace before
handing it over to the King.

The Picture of Robert Dudley because I have a great fascination with the Dudley family, especially Robert - and he is also extremely easy on the eye! - I can certainly see why he was the great favourite of Queen Elizabeth!!

Anne Boleyn is my favourite of Henry's wives and the rose in the picture was named after her.
