I joined this wiki because: The Hanoverian monarchs aren't hot enough to warrant a Showtime series (Just kidding). I absolutely love the Tudors. I think that it is one of the most well-done shows that have been produced in recent years. Interests: Early Modern Europe, specifically in England and France. Though the 18th-century was my first love, I have recently become interested in the Reformation, and as such, the all of my favorite characters on the Tudors are reformers. Favorite movies: The Madness of King George, Anne of the Thousand Days (one of the movies that made me love history) , Lady Jane, Amadeus, The Last of the Mohicans, Amistad. Favorite TV shows: The Tudors, In Plain Sight, Burn Notice, Damages, Veronica Mars (brilliant but cancelled). My heroes: Martin Luther, Winston Churchill, Jeanne d'Albret, William Pitt the Elder, William Pitt the Younger, Elizabeth I, Jean Moulin. My superpower is: Time travel. If I could live anywhere, it would be: Where I live right now. I would like to visit England and France again, but ultimately I would like to live in my hometown. My dream job(s): To be a professor of Early-Modern European History at a major university. What else you should know about me: I am obsessed with Edward Seymour and Thomas Cromwell. So, I guess this is an apology for the fact that I will be stalking their pages on this site and discussing them ad nauseam.
