I am about to start reading "Queen of Scots: The True Life of Mary Stuart," which was a U.S. National Book Critics Circle Award finalist for this book. He seems, from what I gather to be pro-Mary. Mary, as you may well know, was the grand-daugher of Henry VIII's older sister Margaret who became Queen of Scotland. He also wrote, "A Daughter's Life: Thomas More and His Dearest Meg," as well as, "Tudor and Stuart Life," which is more in the juvenile section of the library. Would love opinions, as I think we have a lot of brilliant Tudor minds, scholars and readers out there!
