Hi, I'm Alicia and I am fascinated by the Tudor period in history. My favourite wife was KOA, I think she was one amazing lady. I even have a tattoo on my ribs of part of her last words to Henry as a sort of tribute to her. I enjoy reading anything I can lay my hands on either fiction (though much of it has to be taken with a large pinch of salt!) or non-fiction regarding this period.

I love the Tudors series and although at times it drives me insane with its historical innacuracies, I have learnt to just take it for what it is, a piece of historical drama (and lets face it innacuracies or not its totally fabulous!!)

Aside from medieval and tudor history, I love to listen to music either classic rock or medival music. Blackmore's Night are a particular favourite of mine at the moment. And I have a passion for tattoos.I was recently made redundant, so i'm filling my time as a voluntary tour guide at a local heritage centre, as well as studying for a history degree with the Open University. My absolute dream job is to be curator in a huge museum or work as a tour guide at Edinburgh Castle, and be able to dress up!.
