Henry had visited Anne at the Tower of London just 2 day's before her trail.Pleading with her to take Elizabeth and leave, promising her his fincial support of her and the child. In exchange she would have to confess that she was guilty of incest and adultary to which she anwsered..I'd rather lose my life than my honesty. She also told him that she would die for his happiness if he so wanted.Henry enraged by her refusal left her there saying "If it's death you wish, than Death you shall have.Anne replied that On the day her daughter Elizabeth became queen that her blood would have been well spent. Henry beleived his good and trusted friend Charles Brandon whom had planted the idea in Henry's head, knowing Henry's great jealousy over Anne. The wheel's began to turn and with Thomas Cromwell's help they planned Anne's fall from grace.Henry was devistated to hear of her infidelity and ordered her arrest. He wept openly and had a difficult time signing her death warrent. As some have said he was egar to be rid of her,on the contrary he devistated.Like many men whom think of woman as property Henry angerly acted against her without proper evidence. After her death he mourned quitely. So when he married her cousin and she was implicated in the same way as Anne,he insisted on physical evidence as not to make the same mistake again.Althogh it is written that Jane Seymour was in 1 true love that couldn't be farther from the truth. His action's show otherwise. She was just in the right place at the right time. Some think he killed ANne to be with Jane but that simply wasn't the case.It is said that as he lay dying he told his son that the only thing in life that mattered was true love and he whispered Anne's name.
