Hello, my name isGrace ----------------------- WHY I LOVE THE TUDORS I love The Tudors for many reasons and all are good. My favourite characters are Anne Boleyn, very close behind Mary Tudor and then further back Anne Stanhope. My favourite season was either season 2 or season 4 but I loved all four and throughout the series so many of the population have been treated with great portrayals, fantastic storylines and one of the best shows TV could have wanted! In Season 1 I loved Henry's desire for Anne Boleyn and I find it remarkable that she would not sleep with him until they were married and most would have struggled to be irresistable and keep his interest at the same time as having to push him away. I adored Anne's necklace with emeralds and a pearl that Henry gave her and I so want it! In Season 2 My favourite part was Anne and Henry's relationship, once again. I came to learn she was in fact innocent when put to death and she wasn't guilty of those charges. Natalie Dormer was amazing in both seasons and luckily, it's not the end of her as she returns for a scene with Elizabeth in Season 4! It's funny she was related to Jane Dormer, one of Queen Mary I's ladies. In Season 3 I couldn't get over who lovely Annabelle Wallis' Jane was and now I keep thinking how I wish she portrayed Jane in Season 2, partly because the scene of Henry's kiss with Jane is lovely and so romantic. I adore her pink dress that she wears in the opening credits and when Henry is explaining to her about the ship she was supposed to travel to London in for her coronation in Episode 1. I also love the dress Mary wore when she was upset Phillip was leaving and the cloak at christmas tide when Robert Aske is present at court. In Season 4 I think it is getting bad and dangerous as Henry has married a fireball who is young, at the age of 17, and full of energy and also rather romantic. When she gets bored she finds interests, Thomas Culpepper. I really got to know Anne Stanhope's true character and from the moment I saw her first in Season 3 I thought 'This is an interesting one.' Another thing is that I adore Laiose Murray's portrayal of Elizabeth, I think she executed it 100%! I loved 'The Ghost of Anne Boleyn Scene' with Anne, Elizabeth and Henry, I still wonder now what Elizabeth thought of her mother. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TUDOR FANDOMS Leave me a comment below, or send me a private message or compliment!
