Stephen, Barbara and Jane Brennan are in fact a brother and two sisters from a big Irish theatrical family? Their parents are Daphne Carroll and the late Dennis Brennan and they have two other siblings, Cathryn and Paul who are a radio drama producer and a theatre director respectively. Also three of Stephen's children are in the business too.
In another movie that Steven Waddington appeared in, Sleepy Hollow, his character was decapitated. The model of his head created for that scene was flown into Ireland from Hollywood to be used again for Buckingham's beheading. It must have been interesting when it went through customs at the airport.
Natalie Dormer is related to Jane Dormer Lady in waiting to Queen Mary I and later became Duchess of Feria when she married Don Gomez Suarez de Figueroa of Cordova, Duke of Feria. He was a close confidante to Phillip II and is first ambassador to Queen Elizabeth I's court. Jane Dormer became one of Mary I's closest friends ad confidantes!!! Jane Dormer was also a playmate to Edward VI and he was very fond of her, he was reported saying " now your king is gone Jane i shall be good enough for you" after he had won playing a game of cards with her. She would have also been known to Elizabeth I as she used to stay with he brother around this time!!!
